Cooperation with Xiangfan City
China Natural Gas, Inc. has signed an cooperation agreement with Xiangfan City Development and Reform Committee in Hubei province. According to the agreement, CHNG will build a natural gas storage and distribution station in the suburban area; a water LNG filling station in the city port, and establish four on land CNG fueling stations. with total natural gas storage volume of 557,000 cubic meters and daily natural gas fueling capacity of 88,000 to 105,000 cubic meters. The total investment of the project is expected to reach $15 million.

The Xiangfan City government provided extensive support to the company’s project since it greatly improves the energy shortage of the city. The Xiangfan City government also expressed that the project will alleviate the environment pollution caused by other fuels.
Introduction of Xiangfan City
Xiangfan City locates in the northwest of Hubei Province with a population of 5.78 million and an area of 19,700 square kilometers. It is also an water transportation hub in the midstream of Yangtze river. Until 2008, there are 0.3 million automobiles in the city and 60% of taxis implemented hybrid fuel remodeling. The rest of the taxis will convert into hybrid fuel gradually with the construction of CNG fueling stations.
Development LNG utilization project in Yichang City

According to the company’s agreement with Yichang City, China Natural Gas will build a natural gas storage and distribution station in the city, two water LNG filling terminals in city port and 7 on land CNG or LNG fueling stations in the city.
The LNG utilization project in Huangshi city include one natural gas storage and distribution station, two water LNG filling terminals in city port and 6 on land CNG or LNG fueling stations.
